  2. GOTEK Floppy Emulator Simulator I've been using the GOTEK USB Floppy Emulator Simulator since the beginning of 2013 and they have never let me down. I haven't encountered a single glitch, bug or issue and can highly recommend them.

The Spanish hardware forge 8bits4ever surprises with another new piece of hardware.

The F1 is basically a Gotek floppy disk emulator clone. It's fully compatible with all the firmwares for the Gotek: FlashFloppy, Cortex and HxC.

It can be connected to a host through a standard 34 pin floppy ribbon cable and it's compatible with virtually any computer with a floppy disk interface (though some might require a custom ribbon cable to be made).

It can be powered by the standard 4 pin ATX floppy power connector, but also with a regular 5V DC power supply. It includes a 16x2 LCD screen display and a internal buzzer to simulate the disk activity noise.

Product info
F1 Floppy Disk Emulator. Compatible with FlashFloppy, Cortex, HxC firmwares. The unit mounts floppy disk images stored on a USB drive and it behaves like a real floppy drive. Supports a wide range of floppy image formats.

Works great with our FDC600 (MSX), our SDI1 and PlusD (ZX Spectrum)!
Attention: The Gotek clone does not includes the power supply nor the ribbon cable.
